This new Horrors-album has has had a lot of exposure recently. No wonder why, it has very catchy tunes but also shoegazy and dream poppy elements. Not too complicated stuff really, but very well done. Moving Further Away was my fave from this album. Long, groovy and driving tune but with ambient elements in the end.

In a nice twist Horrors frontman Faris Badwan released another album almost simultaneously. One could say it is a Kilbey-move to release a duo album with a female muse right after the biggest hit of the main band. Lovely noir pop with an old touch but updated to 2011. I don´t know if I liked this sideproject more than Skying. Maybe. Time will tell.
