An easy winner for me as the one that I most often think of is Struggling like a fool with my junk and my jewels from "Myrrh". The reason it tends to pop into my head is one slightly different to its probable intended meaning: that I often feel like I am simply physically carting around too much stuff. When out on fieldwork, I carry many items with me and find that the process of continually checking to make sure I have them all and have not dropped, lost or left any behind (all of which happens from time to time) is quite a burden. If I'm in town and trying to fend off the random Tasmanian weather with a hat and an umbrella, while also trying to eat some food and carry around whatever I have just purchased, I often feel similarly. There are probably other lines that I think of more often than not, but that's the one that stands out as the commonest.
Kevin.
