I heard The Church in the early 80s with their first offering....In the UK the album was of course just entitled The Church rather than Of Skins & Hearts. Since then I've dipped in and out, but over the last couple of years filled in the blanks and realise just how great The Church are.....

Maven Posts: 13 (12/06/2010 15:14) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi there, I have over the years bought most of their Cds although I have not, like some hard core Church fans bought all reissued, remastered stuff and EPs etc....I have bought some of MWP and Steve Kilbey's solo stuff and recently got Monsters n Mirages boxset....I bought Untitled 23 when it was released and was really impressed, Pangea and Happenstance being my favourites....Some albums that I missed first time I've now got......Heydey is still one of my top choices along with Priest = Aura, although it is so hard to chose a favourite because each and all have their highlights....I have never had the opportunity to see The Church 'live' which is a real regret and I keep looking out to see whether they will do a European Tour including the UK in the near future....US fans are so lucky.....My b/f who lives there has seen them no less than 16 times ! (very jealous)..... How did you discover The Church? ..........

Actually, I just posted a note on Hotel Womb about how lucky US fans are, and was wondering about a UK/European tour but I don't think it's cost effective..... So, looks like I may have to make the trip to somewhere not too far away from you.....16 times and counting, wow....he is a lucky bloke
