Remove this ad I just finished watching Men Who Stare At Goats for the second time in a week. I think it's brilliant and prompts me to consider it a cult classic. I felt the same about Pineapple Express. With that in mind, name your five contemporary Cult Classic Films (Last Decade). In addition to the aforementioned, may I suggest... The Life Acquatic with Steve Zissou, directed by Wes Anderson (or anything else by Wes Anderson) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, screenplay by post-post-post modern badass Charlie Kaufman Children of Men, directed by by the only serious threat to the throne of Francis Ford Coppola, Alfonso Cuaron. Those are my faves for the last decade. Oh, and Pineapple Express is really good too. Its up there with Friday. And while not from the last decade, To Live and Die in LA is best damn cop movie of any decade!

OK, 5 films. at least - Lars von Trier's Antichrist The Race of Belleville Let The Right One In and let's see what comes to mind.. btw, i considered Life Aquatic a massive failure. Eternal Sunshine was nice, but Adaptation was by far one of the greatest steaming piles of "i am so clever bullshit" i've ever seen. Children of Men - fantastic. Can you imagine they let this dude make a Potter movie? Best cop movie out of the contest: LA Confidential. ...because strange is what we need The Fandorin Foto Files

Although I could understand if the criticism was applied to Synecdoche New York. Loved Zentropaby Von Trier and look forward to Antichrist. 'The Life Aquatic', as schizophrenic as it was, had some real magic in it (Monsieur Murray's 'Lost In Translation' is one of the BEST American films made in the last 20 years in my humble opinion). across the endless sky we are deployed
