I grew up in San Francisco, so not surprisingly have a strong appreciation of psychedelic music. Didn't discover The Church until Starfish, but since then they have become a major obsession. Must be years; i kinda stopped following the XTC forum, as it was too frustrating to se one of the greatest songwriters ever fall silent in midlife crisis...i still check the Ape site, and fell in love big time with the Milk n Honey band. Have a look around, post about your fav music in the Why Dont You Love Me forum (use the search function to resurrect threads, i think almost every good band is covered there...), and maybe it's gonna be a great Church year 2010!! Fandorin, I have many friends on the Backpoarch and Ape site, but it is far too long since we had had much new to say about Andy and XTC. I guess one of the reasons The Church are so vital is the dedication to creating new music, continually building such an amazing body of work. Thanks for putting up the image Chrome and the comments, that one goes back a ways. I hope to explore and jump in on the topics here soon, nice place you got here,

I did spend many hours admiring Parrish and adopted his color schemes for a while, I still am drawn to pure colors and love how their electricity excites your visual field. It is great to be here among people who are equally drawn to The Church's music and GET IT.
