I've had friends bragging how great the yearly Primavera festival in Barcelona is for some years now: no mud-camping but a city festival with nearby hotels, quality music acts both veteran and new but all in the forefront, great location in the city of Barcelona near the beach + a great audience. So I've bought my festival pass and I'm set to go for the 1st time.

Here's the website with this years line-up, among which a large number of 'best albums of 09' acts are listed. I've never been to a festival with so many fave artists: The New Pornographers, The Fall, Wire, Pavement, Hope Sandoval ++ Hope to meet more Church fans there + need to assistance trying to convince the organisers to book The Church as well.
