The serial number of this guitar was EB157. This website below (that attempts to document all of the 1993 Rose Morris guitars) also has an EB156 shown -the next one to Marty's stolen guitar - showing exactly how it looked, with a little bit of wear and tear. Looking through old photos will show various Rose Morris Rics (like the one mentioned above), ultra-rare Capri models, and his (most rare) Ric one-off. The latter is one which Ric CEO John Hall says 'fooled the experts'. Guitar thieves need to have cheap Chinese copies with jagged frets shoved up their arses all the way to the 9th fret! across the endless sky we are deployed

As Camel pointed out, MWP had quite a few different and very rare Rics. The one he uses in the 'She's King' video is also used in the "Columbus' video. Even the acoustic he plays in the UTMW video is a Ric but that was on loan from Mr. John Hall at Rickenbacker. I have a rare re-issue of the one Marty had stolen (Model 1993 Rose Moris Import) that I lucked out and found in about 1987. I've never tried a Rickenbacker looks like it sounds like a "carillion " (is that correct ?or "ringing bells").. I'll try one before I die. fandorin: please, i know there are some shredders guitarists who are addicted to "fretboard masturbation".. but you can't do it on a Rickenbacker, don't you? .
