As far as lead, I'm assuming the boys do The Beatles thing and sing their self-written tracks (unless I'm completely wrong, which wouldn't be the first time). He provides gorgeous backing vocals on Happenstance, he's got groovy vocals. The voice is another instrument, and the way the band swaps them around, i think it would be fitting.

NSEW for instance has a studio overlap of Steve in the chorus. The more recent acoustic version is improved by having a vocal trade off. Operetta would seem to be in this category. Actually recording in the studiowith with everyone, including Tim, trading off on an album track or two would really add a lot of dimension IMO. b
