I'm sitting here watching my biggest (and most indecisive, apparently) hermit crab switch back and forth between two different shells. He's switched
back and forth five or six times in the past ten minutes. I think he finally decided to stick with his old one, though.
Even if all my pets weren't "exotics" (three budgies, a cockatiel, six hermit crabs and a six-year-old betta) they'd still be strange....
