Just returned from family holiday (we've two little ones) and drowned my Church tears (due to missing their recent Portland show) on the road by playing my LONE live boot from the mid-80's while on the road. It's pretty scratchy but it's still the Church!

As long as sharing takes place among true fans as ourselves, and no one is making a profit, I just don't see how anyone would be offended. Back in the day, I'd loan tapes to friends who had never even heard of the Church, and they'd often soon become fans themselves and in turn buy their own LP's.
