Space Saviour Posts: 1252 (01/04/2009 12:11) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Remove this ad here is my thought, Chromie... instead of going in chromeological order, what do you think about opening up these songs so that anyone can add a song from any album at anytime?...much like that blog where the author just wrote on a song that fit his mood for the day. We could have a thread per album, for example, and then someone can write on a song of his or her choosing without waiting in that thread Of course I can start it this way right now, but figured a little bit of communication and deliberation would benefit . . . thoughts?

I won't have written about C.I. without the strict order, which is a good thing. The album topic is a good idea, though, too. a shame noone wants to meet in Ex-Antenna to chat about unimportant but entertaining stuff like that.... And what about starting a shared blogger account for anyone interested, and posting the reviews there, too? ...because strange is what we need The Fandorin Foto Files

I like that blog idea... maybe in addition to reviews people could post narratives, stories, photos, art inspired by the songs. What am I saying, we could do that here if we could get enough enthusiastic people to start it up. Plan a date and time for a chat and maybe you'd find more interested folks out there.

Posts: 5335 (01/05/2009 01:18) Faith Healer Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Remove this ad Yes, Hanani, it could be improved but I also have some counterpoints against just choosing what fits the mood: - the best songs go first - bad /little known songs stay in the end and the whole thing won´t be finished - great movies are not necessarily done from great books = great reviews are not necessarily written from great songs - of course you can also post Kings in advance and then we can resurrect it when we are there? - if we choose the albums first then there will be P=A and Starfish and then ...ooo...nothing. Today I had to do Unguarded Moment and it was quite enjoyable even though I didn´t appreciate the song so much. Let´s see how it starts and what ideas are coming out. You can say the development ideas in that topic as it took me a while to see that there was something here. ------------------- Nothing stops you starting what you want. You make valid points of course as I imagine there might be some stepping on toes, etc because maybe like fandorin we ALL love "a new season." But now what Ann says really intrigues me, about many people's ideas, photos, narratives, stories and on. While it is supposed to be about the music, i think it's important to keep this place kicking, which is why it would be nice to make something here... And yes, Chrome, nothing or no one is stopping me from starting what I want, but a little order in the church universe would be pretty cool and having people on the same page (esp. moderators) is KEY. you know, with other peoples abilities, we can make something really cool. it's the sum of the parts... I say let the songs and and different visions that we have of those songs take root. here. in blogger page-style
