I call myself " nof " because I have always been a fan of the Church since the very early days however recently I have have crossed over into obsessiveness. I cant pinpoint the specific day or event which caused this to occur but when I question myself it could have been suddenly realizing what great albums SA and HOF are .( previously these kind of "washed over me" as a friend put it .) This realization caused me to revisit the whole gamut of Church output and my previously held conceptions about what was a "great" piece of Church music and what was merely "good" were out the window.
They are all magnificent .
In fact that word isnt adequate to describe them.
To give you some idea of my condition and I'm sure you've all been there , I have a 6 CD stacker in my car and its currently occupied by

as a large part of my working day involves driving I am surrounded by Church music and show no signs of getting sick of it.
In fact I want more...
At the end of the day I walk 2 dogs for an hour in bushland and have a tape of Church music in my walkman.
Then I come home and (currently ) listen to *SK solo on my home stereo while trawling the net for Church history / info.
Which lead me to this site and more tips on what to seek out or revisit and listen to more intently.
* note to self ; must get "Dabble. "

). I wasn't sure I'd really listen to that compliation much
because I tend to like listening to the full albums better, but it's perfect for certain situations. Plus it makes a great album to suggest for
newbies.
my future family line will
be unaffected.
