And I cry foul to this poll distinguishing between versions of Windows but ignoring versions for other systems: There are many Linux distros, but some are more popular, at least two could have been listed, and the others lumped into "other Linux." There are three versions of Mac OS X still reported in the wild by web surfing metrics: 10.3.x Panther, 10.4.x "Tiger", and 10.5.x "Leopard" Certainly Panther (released 2003) is almost extinct, but Tiger is (released 2005) still being used. I use 10.5 mostly (both in the home iMac and in the work's MacBook Pro), Leopard is actually so cool that every time I use Tiger in my office iMac I get the urge to upgrade.

BeOS AmigaOS OS/2 ... and more... all had something good (I know by personal experience with the last two), all got bulldozed by microsoft (and by their own mistakes too).
