Come on people. Am I missing something here? I don't see any threads here about Marty being on tour. I'm a huge Church fan but seeing Marty work his guitar and perform his songs live is a true joy even outside of the realm of The Church. If this is posted elsewhere, fine. I don't frequent the boards a lot so maybe I've missed it. If it has been posted, I'm going to post again just to stir up the pot a bit. If he is near your town, treat yourself to a wonderful night of songwriting beauty and catch one of the greatest guitar players out there. Seattle is up next, if you are going to the show, drop me a line and lets have a drink before the show in the most excellent neighborhood of Ballard.

And when you go to the shows remember to take plenty of cash and hit the merch table. At the very least there are cds, t-shirts, and greeting cards for sale. With any luck there will also soon be some prints of some of Marty's artwork too. Take a bit more cash than you think you'll need and take advantage of not having to pay shipping on Marty merch!

Wow!!!! I had absolutely no idea he was here in the US....I'm heading back home from Tucson, AZ to Seattle tomorrow morning and will definitely go to the Tractor Tavern show as Ballard is only about a 15 minute drive from me!!!

I'll drop you a line. It was here but buried, just out of chance I was digging around his MySpace to find the info on Nightjar and listen to a couple of tracks and realized he was coming to town. I'm going to get a couple folks who aren't that familiar with them out to the show as well. Should be a great venue to see him in. I saw Ron Sexsmith there a few years ago and it was a good setting.

He had a bunch of stuff for sale...even had a copy of Heyday and the She's King EP on vinyl for sale...from memory the only album I don't recall being for sale was Seeing Stars but maybe I just didn't notice it? I purchased Night Jar, Pegasus EP and Live From The Other Side...I asked him why he wasn't in Australia recording the new Church album and he said "all of my bits are done"....
