Chances are someone else has something to say about it. ----------------------------------- My exhibition of the year: Antoni Tapies, EMMA Espoo I didnt go to so many exhibitions this year as I would have liked but couple stuck in to my mind. The biggest revelation was spanish painter Antoni Tapies, who I had regarded as a doodler before. His rough paintings with ultra 3-dimensional textures eventually got my admiration. When you see the big picture the style and content of the painting are very peronal. This artist certainly had his own thing, but in a subtle way. There are only few elements in his landscapes. Not much people, usually none, but the landscape has always been touched by people somehow.
