If I had any shame at all, I'd never let this awful photo be seen... but something about it sort of amuses me despite the bad 80s perm and generally unflattering camera angle. As explanation - this shot was taken by a friend who remarked about all the pink things among my possessions despite the fact that I dislike the color pink. Along with the pink shirt I am wearing, the coat, pillow, blanket, plate, and post-it is my much-loved Seance CD. Since I have a baby daughter (who just turned one), the color pink has grown on me.

Their haistyles were outrageous! Loads of 50s music, Elvis, rockabilly and such followed. Its still part of my life and Im not ashamed of it.

This is a cover of a single but I remember having a full LP with same kind of cover. Taco...Germanys gift to the glittering glamour of eurodisco of 1982. One hit wonder with discoversion of Irving Berlins Puttin on the Ritz. Most of his songs were covers of old showtunes. What was I thinking? Maybe trying to blend in with the in-crowd who had Lacoste-clothes and skiing-holidays. But it was not meant to be and so was the relationship with me and Taco.
