Iron Maiden: Powerslave
Magnificent. Now that I look more of it I realize that the people are heading towards Eddies groin area...or the stairs are Eddies manhood. That was probably unintentional...right.

Show your favourite heavy metal album sleeve. If you have no heavy then I guess any great sleeve will do.

A-fucking-men!
Not only Iron Maiden's best sleeve (I thought) but also the pinnacle of their musical growth as the "classic 5" line-up of Murray, Smith, Harris, Dickinson and Nicko. Murray (especially) and Smith had a great impact on my early guitar development, along with David Gilmour. Interestingly, my fav Maiden song of all-time is "Prodigal Son" off of "Killers", which was sort of an atypical song for them...much more folky and closer to their Wishbone Ash early inspiration, and sung by Paul DiAnno, who had a really nice, smooth voice in the mellow parts.... |

![]() Saxon: Crusader I remember thinking this was interesting album based on the cover art. Its gatefold and the line of crusaders goes to the horizon. The music has disappeared from my mind completely. The Saxon logo was also great. |

![]() Kiss: Love Gun Most of the Kiss sleeves suck. Its astonishing how amateurish many of them look. Not this one though. Dudes look great and there is many white-faced beauties adoring them. This is a brilliant album sleeve and it looks so much better in real life. This scan doesnt do enough justice to the real thing. |

That Rainbow-sleeve is quite punchy. Looks great.
![]() HIM: Venus Doom All of these albums have been quite old. No surprise, as I havent been listening to heavy since 1986. So, here is something brand new. Pride of Finland, HIM, with their new ambitious album Venus Doom. Very bold move, no name of the band, no logo, nothing but this painting with great expressionistic brush strokes. Its almost too good for iPod-era. |

ERIK EKLUND, We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated Hologram of Baal by The Church or other music in the Scandinavia > Finland category have also purchased Venus Doom by HIM. For this reason, you might like to know that Venus Doom is now available. ...but without that wonderful cover!!! have a seat at...

Opeth: Blackwater Park I dont have this album but it seems highly rated. Cover is quite mystical and doesnt reveal too much. Intriquing.
