If this release is successful new "Lost Tales" may be told. I'm even more excited. Is anyone else? Everybody has opinions: I have them, you have them. I really need to rewatch the original series again one of these days. (I have them all on DVD, it's just finding the time). It's a shame that Richard Biggs and Andreas Katsulas have passed on, though, as there will be no "lost tales" with Dr. Franklin or G'Kar (unless they recast, which I seriously hope they don't). "Where oblivion is beckoning, where Leviathan is reckoning."

Columbus Posts: 977 (06/19/2007 17:15) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Not only Richard Biggs and Andreas Katsulas have passed away. Tim Choate (Zathras, and Zathras's brother Zathras) is also dead. There is a fan created page listing all the deceased actors and other people that helped create the B5 Universe, fittingly titled "In Memory Still Bright". Most of the others in the list had minor roles but it's still sad. I lurk around B5 forums, the word, from JMS himself, is that the roles of Dr. Franklin and G'Kar will not be recast. Any new tales filmed in the B5 Universe will be written without them. I think that's best. There are video tributes to both Biggs and Katsulas online, with clips and music from B5. www.zteamproductions.com/babylon5.html They are moving... very moving, really. I didn't know you were a fan too, Sis. I tought it was only Another Earth, Siren Brian and myself! BTW, I once saw a B5 fan mention The Church as a fave band in one of those B5 forums I lurk around... I doubt he has ever posted here, but there's more B5 and Church fans than us around here. I didn't realize how many other people involved in B5 had died, including Tony Steedman and Tim Choate. I still remember Tony Steedman playing Socrates in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". In fact, it was ironic, because in the episode he guest starred in (Hunter, Prey") Bernie Casey also guest starred, and he was also in "Bill and Ted" as Mr. Ryan! Columbus Posts: 977 (10/22/2007 08:49) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Well, I got it, had to wait for a shopping travel to the USA border, but I got it. I'm glad I did (and glad I also found "Robotech: the protoculture collection" a boxset with the whole anime series!!!) The stories are good, they feel like mini-episodes of Babylon 5 (which is what they are supposed to be after all!), and as such they felt like seeing again an old friend, or going back to a beloved place you had missed. The low production budget shows, but not in the special effects, which are beautiful updates of the look of B5 and its fictional universe. Internet gossip shows the DVD has sold well, but that has not (yet) led to rumors of new lost tales, only to hopes. I'm hoping for more. Everybody has opinions: I have them, you have them.
