Driving With Bert and See You On Rooftops have stayed on playlists. I´m sorry but this album has lasted on me a lot longer than Souvlaki, which I should have got to known when it came out. Action is typical nuggets, a mixture of familiar, vaguely familiar and totally unheard tracks. It is well sequenced, as usual I would have left off some of the overexposed classics, but a good listen with a few wow moments thrown in.

Best german album since don't-know-when. Immaculate lyrics. Great guitars (think Church meet My Bloody Valentine meet Sonic Youth meet The Smiths). Good singing. I'll let you know what I think after I've given it a few listens. But for me today, an old classic that I really can't recommend highly enough, The Law Of Things by The Bats. If you can't find a copy of this (and if you do find one, expect the sound of the disk to be terrible), try to get a copy of one of their two latest albums, At The National Grid or Guilty Office. A truly exceptional band.
