What a wonderful song with an almost bouncy "Maxwell Silver meets Spounge Bob Square Paints" feel, but with this haunting slide guitar... One of the many different sides of Kilbey, brilliant... a little tongue and cheek, oops "got him with torpedos in the back of his spedos...holy toledos" I can't stop laughing... Did this song spring from the Dabble session -what with the Dover mention? It must surely be one of Kilbey's more light-hearted songs. The music somehow brings to mind Donovan.
