Iridescence EP by Peter Koppes and the Well
In comparison to some of Koppes other work, this EP really rocks. The music is superb throughout but his voice does give away some limitations at this level, particularly on Peak to Peak. I often felt Peter's voice let him down on Church tracks but down the years I have grown to actively like it; but I do prefer it delivering the softer registered vague wispy sound he often uses. "Her Mark" is straight rock and reminds me slightly of the Comsat Angels. "The Destroyer" has a late 80's Yes feel to it that (strangely) doesn't harm it much, and a brief Ingrid Chavez style female vocal midway.
Well worth hunting down!
