I've had this cd playing constantly since Marty's gig last week and Im loving it so much! It would take a LOT i must admit to beat Nocky 1 which still
is one of my fave cds ever. This copy's not even mastered so Im looking forward to the real deal. You've already heard 2 of the tracks so I'll just
add my 2 bobs worth to the rest as well:
1. Alain Delon - a lovely flowing song about the French actor...with gentle backing vocals "Alain Delon... never feels lone...ly"
2. Let Me Tell You A Secret - of my favourite OTL songs.. this is one of them, a really nice beat and guitar work happening in the background.
3. Lovers Head - electronic imagery, guitar magic and a tale from the past
4. The Guessing Game - gorgeous soft and gentle. Lay back and drift away to this one. Echoes of AENT - sung by Dare
5. Stop Cryin' Your Eyes Out - this is a fantastic song! Sing along at the top of your lungs!!! Baby pull yourself together!
6. The Muse - Marty sings SO beautifully on this track. Has to be about my favourite from the album. Could've come from HOIH, so lovely.
7. The Striker - not being able to read Marty's writing, at first I thought it said 'the stinker' lol. But this is no stinker, ... you'll need happiness tissues, this is gorgeous.
8. Surrounded - heavy rock guitar riffs baby, Martys prog rock roots coming out here as well.
9. Already Dead - gothic tones with an eastern tinge in this one ...which is why I love it! Then it gets heavy. Very Cool song!
10. Hopes and Fears - what can i say? loved this straight off the bat and think it has huge hit potential. Hearing it played live affirmed my love of it even more and its a tune that sticks in your head, something I like to play just before I start my day![<img src=]()

Marty and Dare really have the gift of the melody, romantic hearts, wonderful visual lyrics and tales and damn good musicians, of course.
