Salutations!
Charge up your credit cards and warm up your bank managers - Karmic Hit is set to release the big guns!
It's been a bit quiet these past couple of weeks, as we prepare ourselves for September, which we are hoping to be the biggest KH month ever! Here's a sneak of what we have in store for you...
First up, may we introduce Beangrowers - hailing from Malta and sounding like a cross between Blondie and Joy Division, we know you are going to love them! They rock but have the sweetest sounding lead singer, great lyrics and are as catchy all get out.
Then, something we have been waiting on with baited breath - the new Pugwash album - Jollity! I know the term "classic" gets bandied around a lot but this album is definitely a classic! You are going to be hearing loads about both these albums - so get your appetites truly whetted and ready...
As that wasn't enough - Steve and Russell Kilbey have put together another Gilt Trip album - which is full of huge and atmospheric instrumentals! To celebrate, we are re-releasing the original Gilt Trip at the same time - so pick up both and have enough music to last you the weekend.
SK is busy working on another Isidore album, has finished a track with Glen Bennie, from the Underground Lovers and is working on a tops secret project which is going to blow your ears and minds - codename - Mimesis. More on that later.
If you haven't heard Big Spaceship and you like Lemon Jelly, Air or even New Order, do yourself a favour and head straight to the KH Mall and order several. In fact there is probably a few of our discerning releases which you need to complete your collection. Might I be so bold as to recommend you
do so before we unleash our new, Spring Collection, upon our adoring public?
This is truly the most exciting time ever at KH HQ - there are so many great and exciting projects going on it is making our head spin. We trust you appreciate the fine efforts we are putting in to bring you some of the best music being made on the planet. Definitely the best Esoteric/Postcontemporary music you are going to hear this year!
Take care of each other and yourself, always,
Making Personal the Impersonal,
John Kilbey
Karmic Hit.
