Tony Pucci & Friends - Songs for Jenny
For over a year now, I have been piecing together a musical project, a CD originally meant to be simply my instrumental work with guest vocalists. I have been able to begin collaborations with many singers on my wish list, most notable among them Steve Kilbey and Tim Powles of The Church, along with many talented friends for whom I care for and respect. But as time has progressed, this has become more than just my dream CD; it has become something very special and important. All of us participating in the CD have decided to dedicate our efforts on this CD to charity, that of finding a cure for ALS, and helping to care for the patients of this terrible disease. This CD will be put together over the course of 2007, with an early 2008 release date hopefully to follow. All of the singers have their instrumentals. And if youre a fan of the band The Church and their many side projects, I think youll find this CD particularly interesting. In addition to Steve and Tim, Margot Smith, Donnette Thayer, David Lane, Mark Moldre of Hitchcocks Regret, Jasmine Yee of Halogen, and JLK have all agreed to be on the CD!
