Well...is it an Australian dollar or a US dollar?


I'll preface this by saying the Church is my favourite band so I care a lot more about what happens to them than I do about most bands.

I realise the band has not made much money for a whole lot of years now, and I fear it will be the thing that will finally cause them to call it quits. I understand how exhausting and demoralizing scraping by financially can be (I've been doing it myself), even when doing what you believe in and love. I'd much rather them call it a day when they feel they have no music left to make as the Church than because they can no longer afford it. So I've made the decision to buy as directly as possible from them (ChurchMerch, Karmic Hit, etc) even if it is more expensive for me. I know I alone am not going to buy enough to make everything all right for them, but I do feel that this is one case where each person really is important to the band's survival.
