Chrome, after I discovered my love of the Church a couple years ago, and having worn out my "Best of the Church" cd, I decided I needed to go get some more of this great music. Unfortunately, my local indie shop only had two available, the one I already had plus one other release, the brand new at the time ULTC. Without having heard a single note, I bought it and proceeded to have my jaw drop upon hearing Block. Probably played it 20 times before I even listened to the rest of the cd. While nothing else lived up to that opener for me, I did really enjoy it overall and it was my first proper album. Now, having heard the other albums I don't rate this one as highly as I once did, but it will always hold a special place for me. Block has never lost its perch as my favorite song however.

With regards to your recent comment, I'm not sure I'd call it religious as much as spiritual, but I find alot of their work falls into that category.
