I'm really enjoying this album lately after being a bit "acousticced out" when it was released. Smoulders away nicely, I like the new songs, even Bordello. But there are a few tracks on the dull side of good so they'll get my opening votes.

I'm with Honeysmoke on the fake jazz version of Reptile. Pete tinkling away on that tinny piano, plus SK's washed-up-ex-crooner-parody eez not for mee. But 2P@1 needs to go first. Because it's one louder, baby. Ricochet to win!

The true bottom of the barrel on this one are Two Places At Once, where the harmonies never click, and Bordello, a true 3rd rate Church tune if I ever heard one. But the true worst of the bunch is NSEW. This dull mess plods along with the same enthusiasm I have for a plate of lima beans. This song just doesn't work in slow motion. NSEW

After Everything gets a reprieve due to Sophie's melancholy cello. And the female vocals on Pure Chance are divine. It comes down to Bordello and Grind for me. Grind doesn't add much that we haven't already heard on an existing acoustic version, except maybe the rock-n-roll mandolin. But Bordello disappoints even more. And I really want to like a song called Bordello! The melody is odd and the lyrics even odder. Exhibit A: *Quote:* 'Cause your mind is a bordello, baby And I'm a nasty fellow, baby And I was all turning yellow, baby I said 'Hello baby!' Bordello Mike F.
