There are small boxes in the end of HW that tell some statistics of the topics and users of hotelwomb.com. For some reason it didn't reveal which topics had the most views but I wanted to know that so here is a list of all topics that have gone over 10000 views. Recently the band has had a lot more exposure with new albums, tours, projects and awards than before and many topics now rack more than 10 000 views. That is roughly around 10-20 times more than in 2007. The topics don't have more replies than before, usually less, it's only the views that have gone up. In the olde days, 2007 that is, it was possible to chuck in $6 and  get 30 000 page views for the site without ads and that lasted for months. Now that the amount of views is around 7000 / day the ad free time you get with $6 lasts only a week if that. So it means that ads are here to stay if some of the older readers have wondered about those.

Anyway, here is the list of the most popular topics of hotelwomb.com by views. For example the recent Sometime Anywhere-topic got over 12000 views. As a comparison similar Sometime Anywhere-game topic from 2007 got 668 views. A bit surprisingly Steve Kilbey's Painkiller has emerged as the most viewed topic of the site even if the topic was started back in june 2007. Painkiller came out in september 2008 so it had some time to get views although most have come after that. The biggest rise has happened for many topics that have been started after the release of Untitled#23. Usually side project topics are not that much viewed as the band news but as "Steve Kilbey Ricky Maymi present David Neil Wilderness Years" made today more than 10 000 views I had to investigate how many of those topics there really was.
