SK on his blog has mentioned the possibility of taking the orchestra show to cities around the world. Sadly, I can't see how they could sell enough tickets here in europe to fund hiring whatever local orchestra they would have to hire.....they certainly couldn't fly 70 odd around the globe. £££££££££££££££££££'s. I think it could be quite easy to fly 70 orchestra members around the world or in this case 74 + some members. Of course the tour wouldn´t be funded by the band. In fact this Sydney Opera-gig could have been a lucrative gig and so would the tour be if it happens. I don´t think the band booked the Opera House themselves and paid to the orchestra. The salary of the conductor alone would have made the band bankcrupt in no time. The tour would be funded by australian tax payers and perhaps also countries who want them to perform at their stages. Sydney Symphony Orchestra featuring The Church, the ambassadors of Australian music. Symphony orchestras tour around the world constantly. You might not see them on their tour but plenty of other people do and these tours have nothing to do with the money they make from tickets. In this case adding 4 band members and Tiare wouldn´t make much difference moneywise. Just think outside of the rock box and you see that there is in fact a possibility that this exact tour comes near you. The venue is not going to be Borderline, that´s for sure. I´m not saying that this would happen, it´s just the only way I could think it might happen if there has already been discussions.
