I skipped Starfish since I already have the 2 disc version from EMI, and as confirmed here, it's the same remaster session. Cool to have the lyrics for P=A, but I was hoping for some liner notes from Marty on this record too. Still looking forward to the upcoming batch of re-issues, hope a live DVD makes it out via Second Motion. They do a great job with these releases

It was in a newsletter email from Magnet Magazine. I was looking forward to reading all the info, but as I write this, there's still nothing on the Second Motion website... Here they are (sorry if this is old news...)

Glow Worm Posts: 51 (03/29/2011 22:54) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Wow, just dropped in to my local JB Hifi store and picked up the Starfish (soft-pack sleeve) reissue with the 2nd cd of 12 bonus tracks. Had no idea it was out already, and there seems to be no sign of P=A yet, but I'll keep checking every week. The liner notes are more extensive compared to the earlier reissues, as it has four extra pages. My lucky day. Funnly enough I checked this thread today and let him know that they should be released on the 18/4, and he told me he had Starfish already. Nearly fell over.

Pantechnicon Posts: 144 (04/11/2011 16:42) Glow Worm Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	i have about 2 copies of almost all the churches official cd releases as well as everything up until priest = aura on vinyl as well as some old cassettes, but i just picked up a copy of the starfish reissue because i wanted the liner notes and i'd have to say, they were great reading. well done mwp, it was really interesting to read this stuff and i think it helped me listen out for certain nuances in the songs. but i also found the quality of the reissues exceptional. so i guess slowly i will obtain the reissues just for their listening pleasure.

Will be picking up the remaining CD reissues as well. (And since my vinyl copy of Starfish is a secondhand, rather well-loved copy, perhaps I will splash for a new 180 gram copy of that as well...now if only Second Motion would release the Goldfish DVD...)

Posts: 5335 (04/27/2011 22:16) Faith Healer Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	These are the same EMI remasters. There is a EMI logo in the sleeve and they are licensed to Second Motion. Cardboard sleeves and long liner notes by Marty are the biggest changes. Tracklistings are more or less the same as in previous remasters from 2002 (OSAH, BC, Seance, Heyday) and 2005 (SF, GAF, P=A, SA). No videos are included this time and if the songs fit to one disc then 1 disc it is instead of 2. Notable changes are: OSAH has now 11 songs with "In A Heartbeat" and "Busdriver" as bonus tracks. P=A has only "Nightmare" and "Fog" as bonus tracks. Rumour from the recent tour has it that P=A has no liner notes as nobody remembers the sessions that well. Thus far Marty's liner notes have been a nice companion to the No Certainty Attached book. Looking forward to GAF. Not one of my favorites, but I have nostalgia for it being a Starfish-era convert, and "Essence" is a great track.
