I didn't read the reviews of previous shows before so I wouldn't be expecting anything based on what others saw. I'm going to go back and read when I'm not so exhausted, but here are my highlights from last night...
U#23: On Angel Street. It's a minimalist, quiet song on the CD. There seemed to be some additional guitar parts in the live performance that made this song something special. Lyrics are as heartbreaking as ever.
P=A: Mistress, because I just love that song. It's always great to hear it live.
DISILLUSIONIST. This was the highlight of the show for me. The band sounded great. Steve was moving around the stage at his theatrical best. It was heart-pounding, jaw-dropping pure sex. "It only makes you want him more" indeed. Someone record this for me at a few more performances.
Um, there was something about Starfish too...
