Bring the Church to Scotland |

Just a heads up on a new Facebook page to see if it would be possible to get enough support to get the Church up to Edinburgh or Glasgow for a gig or two. Here's the link. Share it with as many people as possible. I for one would love to see them here.

God, yeah, I'll second that. Saw them twice the last time they were here. Been waiting 28 years on them coming back!!
Did drive down to Manchester in '90 to see them on the GAF tour. That was well worth it. Had never imagined they could kick so much ass live. Am I right in thinking that was the last time they played in the UK outside London? |

I saw them in Leeds in 2002 and they played Brighton a few years back too. Beyond that I'm not sure.

I would most probably go to Scotland to see them - even if they were playing shows in England, too...
It's been FAR too long since they were last over here! rup |

Ha! I was born in Dundee long ago and am also not on Facebook (well, not anymore). Odd.
Sadly, it seems any type of online coordination is a non-starter among Church fans. Even though they pack the US venues, many of them tend to be older than your typical social-networker. I'd love to see a Kickstarter campaign to finance getting the band to Europe, but you'd almost have to advertise it at their US shows to get sizeable support because it doesn't seem most Church fans use Twitter or Facebook actively. :/ |
