Untouched Presence

The energy graces but for a fleeting moment
as if moist ocean breath on my land-bound skin.
Pausing in my march, I allow the reverie to build,
An episode lost between the switch and the trial,
A perfect love succumbed to distraction.
If I could embrace the world
I'd hold you in my arms tonight,
Like every lover I wish I could have known,
Like every landscape upon which I could have grown;
A place unique in origin,
A label worn with pride,
A color infusing our days,
And a culture filled with purpose.
Yet you are always there, untouched presence,
With your cascading hair and liquid eyes,
Embodying the untouchable moon.
I swiftly bow to gravity in your penumbra wake.

It is a disease my sister Jenny has been bravely fighting for the past three years. The instrumental work is done and Im awaiting the song submissions from all of the various guest vocalists. Trust me, this is going to be one outstanding and remarkable CD! It is going to cost close to $2000 to produce this CD.
