Ever been to rehearsals.com?
It's a pretty cool site that offers just what it claims to, bands in rehearsal nicely filmed with excellent sound, sometimes with a small audience sometimes not.
In celebration of the release of the soundtrack for the film Last Kiss, the lead actor in the film Zach Braff hosted a few sets by bands that appear on the soundtrack and as he is a HUGE Remy Zero fan(they also appear on the Garden State soundtrack) they are one of the bands featured. Or at least 3 out of the 5 members performing in an acoustic format for just over 20 minutes. The sound is great and the songs sound fantastic. The members performing are Vocalist Cinjun Tate whom I still think has one of the best voices to emerge in music during the last 10 years, Guitarist Jeffrey Cain(he of Isidore) and bassist Cedric Lemoyne playing rhythm guitar. Fantastic stuff!
The songs they play are....

Prophecy
Fair
Anger(newly written as of yet unreleased song!)
Hermes...

Fernando, thanks for posting the link to their site*,
It seems a bit out of date but I still LOVE this band mainly because of the vocalist who often strikes me as a cross between the range of Thom Yorke & the grandeur of Freddie Mercury while at the same time delving into lyrical subjects & themes that I feel Church fans would relate to...he's not the lyricist that Kilbey is, but maybe someday?
Amanda...I can understand how those 2 CDs may not have struck you as anything special. The self titled is a bit ragged and raw productionwise but there are treasures of songs buried in the murk. I fell in love with Remy Zero through Villa Elaine & it took me a while to find the depth & beauty in the 1st Cd, but trust me, it's there. Golden Hum is the polar opposite in it's production. For ME, it's TOO glossy, too slick & it's lost some edge for that.
