If you're not moved to tears by the last movement, you're probably dead n decaying. From the most tender music you will ever hear, through tumultous n roaring abysses to a wintery solemn, calm and collected peak, a downfall into desperation, which is endured, and a final but modest victory, all in a broad stream, slowly evolving instead of huge contrasts.
Fandorin, I just picked up that Tocotronic album. This is a first for me. I'll let you know what I think after I've given it a few listens. But for me today, an old classic that I really can't recommend highly enough, The Law Of Things by The Bats. If you can't find a copy of this (and if you do find one, expect the sound of the disk to be terrible), try to get a copy of one of their two latest albums, At The National Grid or Guilty Office. A truly exceptional band.
