Them Crooked Vultures...not my bag exactly but I was sure entertained. No total killer songs but the psych hard Cream-y approach worked wonders. I´m not that familiar with Homme but his I liked his vocals more than I expected. "Elephants" was the track that I liked the most so far. "Reptiles" is also very good with all the different parts.

Volcano Choir: Unmap

I had a Bon Iver-period but then his uuuyyyyyyyyyyyyywe-eeeeee-eeeee-eeee-yyyy-eees started to get annoying and so I avoided this one too. This is pretty good stuff though. Loose and experimental but still with some kind of structure. Philip Glass-y in some of the hypnotic parts. Not bad at all.

It´s an album that I still go back to every now and then. Driving With Bert and See You On Rooftops have stayed on playlists. I´m sorry but this album has lasted on me a lot longer than Souvlaki, which I should have got to known when it came out.

This months flavour straight from the Winohouse: Paloma Faith. Quite enjoyable album. Instantly likable stuff. Her covers are cool too in an excessive over styled way. Chicks with huge pompadours always get a bonus point from me.
