Director's Cut is quite okay. For me the biggest disappointment was that in the middle of the album there was 3 sparse piano ballads back to back and the album lost some wind there. Most of the songs are still good or very good but it felt a bit unnecessary as Red Shoes and Sensual World are still valid in my eyes. Director's Cut is still merely this year's appetizer as the main course is almost ready to be served. 50 words for snow is only two weeks away and Wild Man promised a lot.

a cd i play quite a lot is paul and youth who make up a band called the firemen. comprised of paul McCartney' and youth it's really very good, experimental in parts, eclectic and surprising. it's really very good.

i also listen to early pink floyd and some radio head particularly the two experimental cds plus i like their cd 'in rainbows' but mostly i listen to the church still.

i do like kate bush and play ariel a lot and recently bought the new one called 'directors cut' but i have not played it.

Gorgeous album!!! Title track, "Storm Clouds" and closing song "Portugal" are all immaculate on the verge of geniality, and the rest is, at least brilliant.
