			<description><![CDATA[ The recent interview with PK <a  rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.beat.com.au/music/church" rel="nofollow">here</a> states that the band feels "quite strongly" about the absence of capital letters in the church. When did they decide to ditch capitalization? I know many of their album covers lack capitals but I assumed it was a stylistic choice for the cover art and nothing more. ]]></description>

"To celebrate their 30th anniversary, one of Australia’s most iconic, respected and enduring bands – the church – played a special one-off sold-out show at the Sydney Opera House last April.<br>
<br>
Steve Kilbey, Peter Koppes, Tim Powles and Marty Willson-Piper were accompanied by an orchestra conducted by George Ellis who had collaborated with Lou Reed and Augie March and worked on projects including the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games.<br>
<br>
the church: A Psychedelic Symphony premieres Thursday, October 6 at 10pm on MAX.<br>
<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi everybody,<br><br>I would like to replace my old copy of P=A which is from 1992 Arista Records&nbsp; for which i need to increase the volume on my Hi Fi material.<br>Does this seem normal to you or am I starting to be deaf ? <img title="Ohwell" alt="Ohwell" src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif"> (ipod ?)To be clear is there a better sound&nbsp; in the P=A remastered edition versus 1992 recording.<br>As I'm plannig to buy it digitally on Second Motion web site or physically ( hey the lyrics are printed<img title="Tongue" alt="Tongue" src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif">) , i 'll be happy to have some advise. <br>Is anyone happy with the P=A remastered deluxe editon from 2005 ?Is it worth having it ?<br>my last question : why a&nbsp; remastered&nbsp; cd 's copy have a louder sound most of the time ?<br>Thanks for your replies in advance.<br><br>Nicolas.<br> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Back in the days of the AENT tour a music mag called The Big Takeover published an interview with SK, in the same issue there was a review of the gig they played in Hollywood's House of Blues.<div><br></div><div>Some wombers requested that such interview not be posted as apparently this magazine is one of the coolest (given that the interview was never online made easier to comply with that request, as not everyone would be willing to retype that much text), and urged people to buy the magazine if they wanted to read it. .</div><div><br></div><div>I did.</div><div><br></div><div>And as I was perusing through boxes of old stuff recently I found my copy. Steve Kilbey, TimEbandit Powles, Peter Koppes + friends will be performing in a special fundraiser to aid autism awareness and raise funds for ASPECT (Austism Spectrum) in honour of their good friend KLK.<br>

Entry will be a suggested $60 donation at the door which will go towards Autism. (a tax receipt will be issued for those who require one)<br>
<br>
The guys are talking about playing a few Refo:mation songs seeing as it will just be the three of them. It should be a fantastic night with artwork, photo gallery and auctions available.<br>
